Have you always wondered what digital accessibility was all about, but didn't know where to even begin? Or maybe you know some of the basic elements, but not how it applies to your role at Iowa State University? If you answered yes to either question — our Digital Accessibility Basics course is exactly what you need to level up your knowledge of digital accessibility!

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of digital accessibility. You will learn about inclusive design related to your work at ISU. At the end of this course, you will be familiar with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 Level AA. Learners will also be introduced to the layout of the entire course, expectations, and time commitment.
